Linda Lou Arthur Union, Sc

Miss Linda Lou Arthur passed away Friday 7th of November 2014 at the Ellen Sagar Nursing Home after a long illness. She was predeceased by her father, Wilson Doil Arthur and her best friend and partner of seventeen years, "Anut" Betty Randolgh. Miss Arthur is survived by her mother Maria Gibbs Arthur, brother-in-law and sister Araon and Paulette Arthur Goff, niece and nephew Tommy and Sallie McLaughlin, and her "adopted" sister Shirley S. Heinz, her great nephews Tomas (6 years old) and Lattner (4 months) McLaughlin. Also, by her Aunts, Annie Mae Gibbs, Ella Faye Gibbs, Barbara Smith, Betty McNeace and Joyce Parsons. Uncles Ralph Smith, Albert McNeace and numerous cousins. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, loved her God, her church and her family. Graduated from Union High School, where she was a star basketball player. Loved the Atlanta Braves and adored her Gamecocks. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends, but all know she is in a better place and not suffering any more. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Tabernacle Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tommy McManus and Rev. Robert Chapman. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Monday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home.
