Linda Sargent Benson

Mrs. Linda Sargent Benson, age 72, of 446 Pacolet St., Jonesville, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Benson was born in New Hampshire, November 28, 1948, a daughter of the late Hollis and Alice Davis Sargent. She was a graduate of Rivers High School in Charleston and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are two daughters, Melissa Goudelock and husband Adam of Gaffney and Liz Wyatt of Columbia; two sons, James Crews, IV of Gaffney and Steve Shroyer of Blythewood; fourteen grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Rehoboth Baptist Church, 110 Rehoboth Rd., Gaffney, SC 29340, conducted by Rev. James Goudelock. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.

The family will be at their respective homes.
