Obituary

Mrs. Linda Fay Bledsoe Brown, age 62, wife of David Brown of 104 Cricket Lane, Pacolet, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at her home.

Mrs. Brown was born August 11, 1964, in Union, a daughter of the late Davie Gaston Bledsoe, Jr. and Thelma Davis Bledsoe. She was a graduate of Union High School and retired from Transcontinental Packaging.

Mrs. Brown was a woman who loved fiercely, gave generously, and lived life with a little extra flair, usually topped off with her signature red lipstick. She loved to shop, never missed an opportunity to give someone a gift, and had a way of making those around her feel special and loved. She was known for running a little late, but those who loved her knew she was always worth the wait. Affectionately known as “Nina” to her grandchildren, she found her greatest joy in her family. Her husband, children, and grandchildren were truly her whole world, and there was nothing she loved more than loving and caring for them. She was kindhearted, thoughtful, and generous with her love, leaving her family with countless memories to cherish. Above all, she was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother whose greatest legacy will always be the love she poured into her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband are four daughters, Heather Stamey and husband Joey, Larren Franks and husband James, Dasia Davis and wife Allyson, and Dayla Brown; eight grandchildren, Ada Stamey, Harper Franks, Thomas Franks, Liam Davis-Brown, Laiken Davis, Langston Davis, London Skeens and Alabama Skeens; a brother, David Wayne Bledsoe; two sisters, Lisa Adams and husband John; and Debra Robinson; her dog, Roscoe; and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved very much. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Shane Bledsoe and a special dog, Mr. Krinkles.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Larry Goins.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday prior to the services at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.

The family is at the home 104 Cricket Lane, Pacolet, SC 29372.
