Linda Callaham Garner

Mrs. Linda Callaham Garner, age 69, of 735 Old Buncombe Rd., Union, widow of David C. Garner, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Garner was born January 23, 1949 in Seneca, a daughter of the late Harold C. Callaham and Georgia Moore Callaham. She was a graduate of Oakway High School and was retired from South Carolina Department of Disability and Special Needs. Mrs. Garner was a member of Padgett's Creek Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir, Willing Workers Sunday School Class, and the Happy Hearts Sunday Senior Group. Surviving are two daughters, Tammy Jones and husband Tony and April Wells and husband Donavan all of Union; one sister, Ann Waldrop and husband Don of Anderson; a granddaughter, Danielle Jones of Union; four grandsons, Dustin Wells, Dylan Sellers, Dalton Wells, and Dakota Wells all of Union; two great-grandsons, Ayden Wells and Myles Sellers. She was predeceased by one brother, Jimmy Callaham. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Padgett's Creek Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Carroll Caldwell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Dylan Sellars, Dustin Wells, Dalton Wells, Dakota Wells, Josh Sumner, and Jonathan Parkins. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 PM Friday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. The family is at the home, 735 Old Buncombe Rd., Union, SC 29379.
