Linda S. Jordan

April 18, 2015 Mrs. Linda Shehan Jordan, age 70, wife of Jimmy Jordan of 244 Walker St., Pacolet, went home to be with her Lord, Friday April 17, 2015. Mrs. Jordan was born in Pacolet Mills, May 14, 1944, a daughter of the late Albert T. Shehan and Rosie White Shehan. She was retired from textiles and had formerly worked at local retail stores. Mrs. Jordan was a loving wife and mother. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Jamie L. Jordan of Pacolet; a brother, Dean Shehan and wife Marian of Gaffney; two brothers-in-law, William "Bill" Jordan and wife Rosie of Dracusville and Dan Jordan and wife Mikki of Powdersville; special cousins, Stacey Smith, Tracey Taylor and Sonya Mode all of Spartanburg and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel conducted by Rev. Andrew Carrigan and Rev. Julie Gibson. Burial will be at Pacolet United Methodist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be members of the Men's Adult Sunday School class of Morning Star Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 12:30 until 2:00 PM Monday at the chapel prior to the services. Memorials may be made to Morning Star Baptist Church, 150 Old Spartanburg Hwy., Pacolet, SC 29372 or to Journey Hospice, 351 E. Blackstock Rd., #B, Spartanburg, SC, 29301. The family will be at the home, 244 Walker St., Pacolet.
