Mrs. Linda Walker, age 79, wife of Robert Craig Walker, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, in her home, surrounded by family.
Mrs. Walker was born in Spartanburg, SC on January 28, 1946. She was a daughter of the late Hollis and Mary Hyatt Bryant. Mrs. Walker was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, where she had been the pianist for over 35 years.
In addition to her husband, Craig, Mrs. Walker is survived by daughters, Kara Ford of Pauline, and Tonya Atchley (James) of Gaffney and a step-daughter, Stacy Marie Walker (Jerry) of York. Mrs. Walker is also survived grandchildren Kip Fleming, Kory Chadwick (Jeni), Koby Lee, Dylan Scruggs and Karley Ford; great grandchildren, Kaydence Chadwick, Deklen Chadwick, Corbin Chadwick, and Kennedy Fleming; sisters, Debi Hughes (Jeff) and Sandra Millwood; niece Hayley Edens (Ken); in addition to other family, Lee and Tony Chadwick and their families. Mrs. Walker was predeceased by a son, Stacy Alan Moore, a son-in-law, Michael Ford and a brother-in-law, Billy Millwood.
Graveside services will be held at Union Memorial Gardens, on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM conducted by Rev. Bill Randall and Rev. Mark Truitt. Mrs. Walker's family will receive family and friends Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel, located at 310 W South St., in Union, SC. The family is at the Walker residence.
