Lisa Martin

Mrs. Lisa Chastain Martin, age 59, wife of William “Shoney” Martin, of 529 Peach Orchard Rd., Union, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026, after a lengthy illness, at Atrium Health Charlotte.

Mrs. Martin was born June 17, 1966, in Union, a daughter of Mary Jane Chastain and the late Carlton Chastain. She was a graduate of Union High School and retired from the South Carolina Department of Corrections. Mrs. Martin had previously served as a Kindergarten Assistant for many years.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Carlee Crawford of Union; a sister, Sandra Brasington of Union; a brother, Jimmy Chastain and wife Debbie of Union; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Bruce Brasington.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, March 6, 2026, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Ronnie Cole. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Logan Vanderford, Tim Harrison, Ryan Scott, Mike Chastain, Ricky Chastain, and Billy Sosebee.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 PM, prior to the services at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.

The family is at the home of her mother, Mary Jane Chastain, 543 Peach Orchard Rd., Union, SC 29379.
