Lois Adams Garner

Lois Adams Garner Union, SC Mrs. Lois Adams Garner, age 66, wife of Ned Wayne Garner of 194 Garner Road, Union, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Garner was born in Kelton, SC on January 8, 1949 a daughter of the late James Earl Adams and Elsie Skoog Adams. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and attended Gardner-Webb College. A former truck and bus driver, Mrs. Garner was retired as plant manager of Mac Shore Classics and had previously operated her own residential cleaning service. She was a member of Foster's Chapel United Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are, two sons, Brian Richard Lawson and Erik Wesley Lawson both of Jonesville; a step-son, James Garner and wife Megan of Union; six grandchildren, Tyler Lawson, Brittani Lawson, Tabitha Lawson, Savanna Lawson, Samuel Lawson, and Erika Lawson; three step-grandchildren, Riley Garner, Brandon Garner, and Bronson Garner; two sisters, Jenny Adams and Deborah Crisp both of Jonesville; two brothers, Richard Adams and wife Shirley of Jonesville and Talmadge Adams and wife Debra of Union; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Garner of Spartanburg and Beth Adams of Jonesville. Mrs. Garner was predeceased by a sister, Linda Kinsey, two brothers, Oscar Adams and Michael Adams. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Foster's Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Glenn Ribelin. Burial will follow at Porter Gallman Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be, Danny Little, James Garner, Kenneth Adams, Marshall Adams, Randy Fox, Dennis Fowler, Ken Adams, Jr., and Drew Adams. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Foster's Chapel United Methodist Church, C/O United Methodist Women, PO Box 611, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home of her sister, Deborah Crisp, 279 Pea Ridge Hwy, Jonesville, SC 29353.
