Lois M Wells

Mrs. Lois Melissa Moss Wells, age 83, of Taylors, widow of John Ellis Wells, Jr., passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020.

Mrs. Wells was born in Union, January 15, 1937, a daughter of the late Fred and Mattie Cody Moss. She was a retired textile employee and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Wells was a hardworking and loving mother who was the last surviving member of thirteen siblings.

Surviving are three sons, Donald Wells and wife Jean, Wayne Wells and wife Bobbie all of Taylors and Ronnie Wells and wife Karen of Piedmont; seven grandchildren, Lisa Goldsmith and husband Ray, Cindy Adams and husband Lee, Rocky Wells, Charles Wayne Wells, Jr. and wife Ashley, Crystal Jones and husband Justin, T.J. Goldsmith and wife Abby and Jeffery Tollison and wife Lynn; and eleven great-grandchildren: Brittany, Brandon, and Bryleigh Adams, Kayla Goldsmith, Maddox and Memphis Wells, Adam and Walker Jones, Jeremy, Chris, and Julian Tollison. She was predeceased by one son, Troy William Wells and a grandson, Ronald Joshua Wells.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Rosemont Cemetery.

The family is at their respective homes.
