Lori Ann Dabbs Briggs

August 24, 2018 Mrs. Lori Ann Dabbs Briggs age 56, of 309 Osborne St., Union, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the Union Medical Center. Mrs. Briggs was born in Union, March 17, 1962, a daughter of James "Buster" Dabbs and Ruth Ham Dabbs. She was formerly employed with Disney Distribution in Jonesville and Hobby Prints in Union. Mrs. Briggs was a member of Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her parents are a daughter, Heather Luther and fiancé James Dorethy of Cowpens; a son, Clay Morris and wife Cathy of Union; a sister, Mary Thomas and husband Ron of Gaffney; a brother, Dennis Dabbs and wife Cheryl of Boiling Springs; seven grandchildren: Devon Morris, Connor Morris, Destini Morris, Joshua Cash, Kaydence Dorethy, Katie Robertson and Bayleigh Robertson; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Sam Baine and Rev. Gerald Eaves. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Chester. Active pallbearers will be Jamie Cohen, Bryan Stepp, Keith Ivey, Matthew Arrowood, Damascus Shelton, Lee Brannon and Anthony Marlowe. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday evening at Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the Lori Briggs Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family will be at the home of Billy and Jessie Morris, 635 Brown's Creek Church Rd., Union.
