Lorne Wesley Ward, Jr.

Mr. Lorne Wesley “Wes” Ward, Jr., age 42, of Union passed away April 8, 2026, after a long illness.

Wes was born February 17, 1984, the son of April E. Ward and Lorne W. Ward, Sr. both of Union. He had worked in construction, attended Union County Schools and was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Fairforest Baptist Church. Wes loved music and was an accomplished guitarist.

In addition to his parents, Wes is survived by sons, Aiden Wesley Ward and Nolan Thomas Ward, a brother Aaron Evan Chase Ward and a sister Angel C. Sorrells all of Union. He also survived by 2 nieces and 6 nephews. Wes was predeceased by a son Brandon Gage Ward.

The family will gather for a visitation and memorial service, Sunday, April 11, 2026, from 1:30 PM until 4:00 PM at the home of his brother Chase Ward at 145 Old Ferry Road, Union, SC 29379.

The family is at their respective homes.
