Louis Revis Smith

Mrs. Louis Revis Smith, age 87, of Ellen Sagar Nursing Home, widow of Sam J. Smith passed away Monday, February 1, 2016. Mrs. Smith was born in Union, SC on January 3, 1929 a daughter of the late Rev. L.D. Revis and Eula Pack Revis. She was retired from Wallace Thomson Hospital where she worked in food services. Mrs. Smith was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are a son, Jerry H. Smith and wife Kathy of Union; a daughter Teresa S. Wilson and husband Jim of Union; two sisters, Doris Harrison and husband Jack of Spartanburg and Linda Carol Wilburn of Union; one brother, Harold Revis all of Union; six grandchildren, Scott Smith, Shane Smith, Brad Duckett, Bridgett Smith, Casey Smith, and Stacey Smith; six great-grandchildren, Katie, Saywer, Taylor, Raina, MaKayla and Devin Smith. She was predeceased by two sons, J.L. Smith and Kent Smith; three brothers, Maxie Revis, Charles Revis, and Roy Revis; and one sister, Lavern Cavender. Graveside services will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Mr. Jerry Gossett and Rev. Jeff Farmer. The family will receive friends after the services. The family is at the home of her daughter Teresa S. Wilson, 105 Chelsea Court, Union, SC 29379.
