Louise Scales Gregory

April 11, 2016 Mrs. Louise Scales Gregory, age 95, formerly of Lockhart, widow of Miles R. Gregory, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Lexington Medical Extended Care, Lexington, SC. Mrs. Gregory was born in Union, SC December 30, 1920, a daughter of the late James M. Scales and Elizabeth Porter Scales. She was a graduate of Lockhart High School; a member of Lockhart First Baptist Church where she was a member of the WMU and was also a member of the Lockhart Senior Citizens. Surviving are a daughter, Linda G. Fowler and husband Gene of Lexington; two grandsons: Greg Fowler and wife Angie and Jonathan Fowler and wife Debbie of Hanahan and four great-grandchildren: Miles, Greer, M.J. and Barrett Fowler. Mrs. Gregory was predeceased by two sisters, Daisy Lee Young and Flora "Toby" Vaughan and three brothers, James, Robert and Charlie Scales. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Delos Blanton. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 2:00-2:45 PM Wednesday in the chapel prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Lockhart First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 190, Lockhart, SC 29364.
