Louise W. Kingsmore

November 24, 2016 Mrs. Louise West Kingsmore, age 89, widow of Willis Franklin Kingsmore, formerly of Union, passed away Wednesday, Thursday, November 23, 2016 at Brookdale Place in Rock Hill. Mrs. Kingsmore was born in Union Co., January 24, 1927, a daughter of the late Frank Charles West and Ruby Lowe West. She was a graduate of Union High School and was retired after 16 years serving as secretary at the First Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Kingsmore was a member of Mon Aetna Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher. She was a loving mother and friend to many who knew her. Surviving are a daughter, Suzy Kingsmore Braddy and husband Audie of Rock Hill, a sister, Helen West Abrams of Joanna; two brothers, Jack Edward West and wife Dee Dee of Joanna and Charles Raymond West and friend Bill Johnson of Hillsboro, NC. Mrs. Kingsmore was predeceased by a sister Geneal West Riley. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Jim Riley. Visitation will be held at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 until 1:45PM prior to the services and also following the graveside service at the cemetery.
