May 16, 2015 Mrs. Louise Nesbit Patrick, age 96, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was born October 23, 1918, in Albemarle, NC, a daughter of the late Dr. Taylor and Loma Niven Nisbet. She lived in North Carolina until 1959, when she moved with her husband and children to Jonesville, SC. A graduate of USC-Union and Limestone College, she retired from the Union County School District. In retirement she enjoyed playing bridge and taking art classes. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church and formerly a member of Fair Forest Presbyterian Church where she served as Elder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Patrick, Sr.; twin sister, Lucille Guion; sister, Emily Morrison; and a brother, Taylor Nisbet, Jr. Survivors include her children, Prudence Youngblood and husband Lee Wayne Youngblood of Jonesville, SC; and Charles William Patrick, Jr. and wife, Dr. Celeste Patrick of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Andrew Youngblood and wife Bryan of Spartanburg, SC, Chris Youngblood and wife Amanda of Greenville, SC, Laura Boyles and husband Andrew of Charleston, SC and Charles William Patrick, III of Charleston, SC. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Andrew and Resce Youngblood of Spartanburg, SC, Edie and Ava Youngblood of Greenville, SC and sisters Douglas Davis of Monroe, NC and Carolyn McLean of Greensboro, NC and well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 17, 2015, 2:00 - 3:00 PM at New Hope United Methodist Church, 154 New Hope Church Road, Jonesville, SC, followed by a 3:00 graveside service in the church cemetery with the Rev. Dr. James W. Ivey officiating. Memorials may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 787, Jonesville, SC 29353. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Prudence and Lee Wayne Youngblood, 659 New Hope Church Rd., Jonesville.
