Lucille Miller Voiselle

Mrs. Lucille Miller Voiselle, age 90, of 3639 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy., Buffalo, widow of John Voiselle, Jr., passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Voiselle was born December 13, 1927 in Chester, a daughter of the late Claude Miller and Estelle Dawkins Miller. She was a graduate of Union High School and retired from Cone Mill after 30 years. Mrs. Voiselle was an active member of McCutcheon Presbyterian Church where she had served as the church clerk, was a member of Women of the Church, helped with the youth, and taught Bible School. Surviving are two daughters, Joan Lawson and husband Stanley and Jill Brown and husband Troy all of Buffalo; one sister, Ruby Coward of Chapin; five grandchildren, Beth Maxwell, Jay Voiselle and wife Renarda, Holly Lawson, Kim Voiselle, and Matthew Voiselle and wife Sarah; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sons, John Voiselle, III, William Dale Voiselle, and Joseph Wade Voiselle; two sisters, Teenie Weathers and Jeanette Linder and two brothers, Dale Miller and Ross Miller. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Donald Tillman and Rev. Spencer Ledford. Burial will follow in Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Gem McCutcheon, Cory McCutcheon, Jay Voiselle, Matt Voiselle, Jaylon Voiselle, and Noah Voiselle. The following are asked to sit in a group and form the honorary escort, the Nurses and Staff of Medi Home Hospice, Johnnie Sherbert, Nikki Brannon, Katie Henderson, Margaret Ann West, Mary Lawson, and Betty Farr. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:45 PM prior at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Medi Home Hospice, 720 S. Duncan Bypass, Suite C, Union, SC 29379.
