Lucy B. Eaves

July 13, 2014 Mrs. Lucy Bumgarner Eaves, age 87 of 353 Eaves Rd. Whitmire, SC., widow of Archie Eaves, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Eaves was born in NC, April 14, 1927, a daughter of the late Grover Bumgarner and Annie Lee Keller Bumgarner. Mrs. Eaves attended God's Healing Springs Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Lois Annette Taggart of Union; a son, Mandale "Pickle" Eaves and wife, Bonnie of the home; a sister, Betty Jo Sims of Union; a granddaughter, Stephanie Byrd and husband, Neal of Ridgeway; a grandson, Michael Eaves of Whitmire; two great-granddaughters, Scarlett and Rhiannon Byrd. Mrs. Eaves was predeceased by two granddaughters, Amy and Patti Carter, one sister and four brothers. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at God's Healing Springs Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Wayne Tobias. Burial will be at Whitmire Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday Evening from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at God's Healing Springs Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Pathway Hospice, 511 W Butler Rd., Ste B., Greenville, SC 29607-4890. The family is at the home, 353 Eaves Rd., Whitmire, SC 29178.
