Lula Rena Elliott

Mrs. Lula Rena Maness Elliott, age 88, of 373 Riley Rd., Buffalo, widow of Paul E. Elliott, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Woodridge Manor in Spartanburg. Mrs. Elliott was born in Campobello, August 1, 1931, a daughter of the late Doyle and Ethel Grant Maness. She was a graduate of Union High School and retired as Ward Clerk at Wallace Thomson Hospital. Mrs. Elliott had formerly worked with United Merchants, Buffalo Plant and Conso Products. She was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are a son, Stanley Elliott and wife Pam of Union; four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Elliott was predeceased by a brother, Mason Maness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 8, 2019 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Shannon Faulkner and Rev. Todd Davis. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Friday at the chapel prior to services. The family will be at the home of her son, Stanley and Pam Elliott, 123 Hummingbird Lane, Union.
