Lynda Howie Jolly

Lynda Howie Jolly, age 72, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 15, 2023, at her home in Surfside Beach, SC. Born in Monroe, NC. Lynda was the daughter of the late Lewis Zimmer Howie and Ruth Virginia Heafner Howie. An avid reader, Lynda enjoyed shelling, antiquing, being outside, and spending time with her grandchildren. For many years she enjoyed coaching youth sports with her husband Terry. In addition to her parents, Lynda is preceded in death by her sister Virginia "Ginger" Howie. Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Terry Lee Jolly, Sr., Surfside Beach, SC; children, Virginia Andi Mills (Paul Mitchell, Jr.), Myrtle Beach, SC; T. Lee Jolly, Jr. (Lauralee), Salisbury, NC; Matthew H. Jolly (Malissa), Surfside Beach, SC; grandchildren, Cameron Mills, Surfside Beach, SC; Tyler Vaughn, Union, SC; Robert Lewis Jolly, Thomas Jolly and Lilee Beth Jolly all of Salisbury, NC; great grandchild, Gracie Vaughn. A Celebration of Lynda's Life will be held 5:30 PM Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Burroughs Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet, SC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the time of service.
