Mrs. Mable Lee Vinson Brock, age 92, of 141 Dana Tara Ln., Buffalo, Passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at her home. She was the widow of the late James D. Brock, Sr. Mrs. Brock was born in Buffalo, SC August 12, 1926, a daughter of the late Ben F. Vinson and Lilian Justice Vinson. A graduate of Union High School and Limestone Business College, she worked as a bookkeeper at Roper Chevrolet and Her Majesty for several years. Mrs. Brock later became self-employed as the owner and operator of the Blue Jean Barn in Buffalo. Mrs. Brock was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are 3 daughters, Brenda Moss and husband Bobby of Union, Susan Walker and husband Eric of the home, Judie Fowler of Portland, OR.; 3 sons, James D. Brock, Jr. and wife Grace of Pawleys Island, Maxie Brock and wife Evelyn of Aiken, Tim Brock and wife Tracy of Clover; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Brock was predeceased in death by 5 brothers. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Richard Lewis. Mrs. Brock's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with food and fellowship will follow immediately after the graveside service at Buffalo United Methodist Church. The family wishes to say a special "thank you" to MSA Hospice of Union employees, staff and to the caregiver of Mrs. Brock, for their special care during her illness.
