Mable R. Eaves

Mrs. Mable Redmon Eaves, age 81, wife of Oliver T. Eaves of 174 Ellis St., Union, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Heartland of Union. Mrs. Eaves was born in Jonesville, June 9, 1934, a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Hoglon Eaves. She was a graduate of Union High School and was retired from Milliken and Co., Rosemont Plant. Mrs. Eaves was an active member of Fairview Baptist Church as long as her health permitted. She was a member of the WMU of the church. Mrs. Eaves was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Robin E. Austin of the home; a granddaughter, Keena Austin Fowler; two great-grandsons, Richard Chase Fowler and Oliver Wyatt Fowler all of Union; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Bob Cato. Visitation will be held at the graveside following the services. Memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church, 763 Neal Shoals Rd., Union, SC 29379. The family will be at the home, 174 Ellis St., Union.
