Magdalene R. “Teenie” Mcabee

January 29, 2016 Mrs. Magdalene R. "Teenie" McAbee, age 75, wife of Boyd E. McAbee, of 2252 Lockhart Hwy., Union, passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 at her home. Mrs. McAbee was born in Lancaster, SC on June 23, 1940 a daughter of the late James Blair Railey and Nora Lee Huneycutt Railey. She was retired from Ashe Insurance Company in Lockhart and was formerly employed with Milliken & Company - Excelsior Plant. Mrs. McAbee was a member of Mon Aetna Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Michael "Moose" McAbee and wife Beth of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Scott McAbee of the home; three sisters, Mary Pittman and husband Duke of Camden, Phyllis Fowler of Lancaster, and Brenda Caldwell of Clinton; one sister in law, Peggy Railey of Lancaster; two granddaughters, Taylor and Lucy Busbin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws. She was predeceased by two sisters, Billie Jean Adams and husband Leroy and Doris Krawacki and husband Ike and one brother, Jimmy Franklin Railey. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Mon Aetna Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Chris Gulledge and Rev. Bob Cato. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be William Jolly, Johnny Rutledge, Rod McAbee, Terry Greene, Monty Fowler, Jeff Littlejohn, Colman Farrell, and Keith Baker. The following are asked to form the honorary escort, Tommy Knox, Will Horlacher and David Horlacher. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday at the church prior to the services. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Piedmont Hospice, Ashley Henderson, Cami Belue, and very special friends, Julia Adams and Naomi Bassett.
