Margaret Ann Gunning Jones

September 14, 2018 Mrs. Margaret Ann Gunning Jones, age 84, formerly of Union, widow of William A. Jones, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia. She was born in Union, July 9, 1934 a daughter of the late Arvil "Bo" and Victoria Allen Gunning. Ann retired from Eckard Drugs in Columbia and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are two sons, Kenneth E. Beard and wife Cheryl of Irmo and Steve A. Beard of Atlanta; three grandchildren, Sharon Fulton and husband Terry, Karan Willetts and husband Stephen, and Stephanie Van Dyck and husband Peter; four great-grandchildren, Cody Temples, Jordan Willetts, Ethan Lindler, and Baylee Willets; and her loving dog, Lulu. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, September 17, 2018 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Chris Gulledge. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Stephen Willetts, Terry Fulton, Cody Temples, Peter Van Dyck, Jackie Allison and Joey Allison. Visitation will be held following the services.
