Margaret Pridemore Sumner

Mrs. Margaret Pridemore Sumner, age 82 of 402 Railroad Street, Union, widow of Clarence Paul "Tink" Sumner, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Mrs. Sumner was born in Union, SC, a daughter of the late "GN" Pridemore and Flora Hoglen Pridemore. She was a member of the Potter's House. Surviving are a daughter, Arlene Cook of the home; five grandchildren: Denise Howell, Marie Davis, Paul Watts, Joy Wells and Sandy Davis; eight grandchildren and a brother, Franklin Pridemore and wife Brenda of Union. Mrs. Sumner was predeceased by a daughter, Denise Nance, a son, Clarence Paul Sumner, Jr., three sisters, Agnes Cagle, Altie Floyd and Mae Tindle and two brothers, EK Pridemore and Newton Pridemore. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 28, 2015 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Don Moore. Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday in the chapel prior to the service. The family is at the home, 402 Railroad Street, Union.
