Margie F. Robinson

Mrs. Margie Faucett Robinson, age 82, of Jonesville, widow of Jimmy Robinson, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Mrs. Robinson was born in Union, November 25, 1940, a daughter of the late Norman Faucett and Estelle Goings Faucett.  She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and the American Institute of Banking. Mrs. Robinson had worked in banking for 43 years and retired from Wachovia Bank.  Mrs. Robinson was a very active member of Jonesville United Methodist Church where she served faithfully for many years as the Financial Secretary. She was also a member of the Union Rotary Club, the Jonesville Band Aide Club, the March of Dimes and the American Banking Institute.

Surviving are a daughter, Crystal R. Bryant and husband Tim of Jonesville; two granddaughters, Elicia Bryant and Olivia Bryant; a brother, Fred Faucett and wife Doris; and several nieces and nephews including Kim Holt and husband James and their son, Jameson who was considered a grandson. She was predeceased by two sisters, Evelyn Garner and Shirley Sanders; and three brothers, William "Billy" Faucett, James "Jimmy" Faucett and Lynn Faucett.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Jonesville Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Fran Love and Rev. Dr. Jim Ivey. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.
