Marjorie Hamm Canupp

Mrs. Marjorie Hamm Canupp, age 87, wife of James H. Canupp, of 3924 Miller Rd., Sharon, passed away, February 14, 2021 at her home.

Mrs. Canupp was born July 21, 1933 in Chester, a daughter of the late Lawrence Hamm and Jesse Love Hamm.  She was retired from Milliken & Co.—Lockhart Plant.  Mrs. Canupp was a member of Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Judy Biggerstaff of Union and JoAnne Skeen and husband Rick of Sharon; a son, Eddie Canupp and wife Mitzi of Union; two sisters, Ruth Dabbs of Union and Brenda Tiller of Chester; a brother, Lewis Hamm of McConnells; four grandchildren, Dawn Patterson and husband Steve, Jessica Edwards and husband Chris, Jeremy Lankford and wife Leslie and Eric Morris; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Donnie Adams.  She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Johnny Biggerstaff; two sisters, Myrtle Adams and Elaine Cabiness and two brothers, Grady Hamm and Leon Hamm.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Sam Baine.  Burial will follow at Lockhart Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be William Erwin, Todd Foster, Jamie Farr, Chris Childers, Ron Thomas, and Clay Morris.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church.

The family is at the home of her daughter, JoAnne Skeen, 9101 Lockhart Hwy., Sharon, SC 29742.
