Marjorie T. Ivey

Mrs. Marjorie Trent Ivey, age 92, of 758 Brown's Creek Church Rd., Union, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home. Mrs. Ivey was born in Union, April 13, 1924, a daughter of the late William Jesse Trent, Sr. and Alice Stepp Trent. She was a homemaker and the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are a son, Petey Ivey and wife Jeri and their son, Trent Ivey all of Union. She was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Ivey Prince and her husband William Prince and is survived by their children; Bonnie Prince and her children, Casey Alman, Charlene Alman and Willy Alman; and Will Prince and wife Katie and their children, Dakota Prince and Willow Prince. She is also survived by a dear friend, Marion Estes. Mrs. Ivey was also predeceased by three sister, Iona Trent Alverson, Cora Trent Farr and Elsie Trent Treadway; and one brother, W.J. Trent Jr. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Brown's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. John Lee. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the services.
