Mark Anthony "Ankie" Walker

Mr. Mark Anthony "Ankie" Walker, age 64, husband of Sandy M. Walker of 167 Riley Rd., Buffalo, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Walker was born in Union, March 22, 1956, a son of Acy and Evelyn Mowdy Walker. He was a 1974 graduate of Union High School and retired from Timken Co. Mr. Walker was previously employed with Conso Products. He was a member of New Life Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Roman Walker; two step-daughters, Amber J. Vassey and husband Nick and Ashley J. Reece and husband Chris all of Union; a brother Alan Walker and wife Sharon of Townsville; grandchildren, Breland Walker, Maisey Reece, Ryan Vassey and R.C. Vassey; beloved nieces and nephews, Gina Powers, Brad Walker, Brenda Sinclair and Kerry Walker; and several great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, February 19, 2021 at New Life Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Shannon Faulkner and Rev. Todd Davis.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 until 4:00 PM Friday at the church prior to the services.
