Mark Curtis Boulware

Mr. Mark Curtis Boulware, age 56 of Union, SC passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026. Mark was born on November 15, 1969 in Hickory, NC. He lived most of his life in Union, SC. After graduating from Union Comprehensive High School in 1988, he went to work for Boulware Plumbing where he spent most of his working years. For the last 14 years, he worked for SCDOC at the Tyger River facility as a plumber and plumbing instructor.

Mark was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, camping and grilling. He found sanctuary in the woods and on the river. According to him, it’s where he felt closest to God. Mark recently started attending Lakeside Baptist Church in Union, SC.

He is survived by his son Cody Boulware and wife Nikki of Orange Park, FL; his mother Sue Craven Ragan and her husband Tom of High Point, NC; stepmother Cathy Moore Boulware of Union, SC; sister Karen Roberson (Steve) of High Point, NC; two brothers Michael Tyler (Mindy) of Union, SC and Mitchell Tyler (Erika) of St. Johns, FL. Also left to treasure his memory are several nieces and nephews, whom he was so proud of, as well as many cousins, extended family and friends.

A private family service will be planned at a later date.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
