Mark A. Ramsey

September 27, 2018 Mr. Mark Anthony Ramsey, age 52 of Union, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the home of his sister after a brief illness. Mr. Ramsey was born in Union, May 15, 1966, a son of the late Thurman Eugene "Shorty" Ramsey and Annie Ruth Johnson Ramsey. He was a 1984 graduate of Union High School and was employed with NAPA Auto Parts. Surviving are two sisters, Joan Ramsey Christopher and husband Gary of Pulaski, TN and Melissa Ramsey of Buffalo; a brother, Steve E. Ramsey and wife Barbara of Buffalo; and a number of nieces, nephews and special friends. Mark was predeceased by a sister, Susan Ramsey Davis. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Carrol Caldwell. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Matt Goodfellow, Timothy Davis, Chris Fallaw, Tim Dehart, Matt Pittman and Greg Krasinski. Visitation will be held from 1:30 until 3:00 Saturday at the chapel prior to the services. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615. The family will be at the home of his sister, Melissa Ramsey, 117 Katelyn's Way, Buffalo.
