Martha Sue Hogan

Mrs. Martha Sue Hogan, age 70, of 101 Fox Place Union, widow of Donnie Bruce Hogan, Sr., passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Heartland of Union. Mrs. Hogan was born in Gaffney, SC on June 16, 1946 a daughter of the late John Claude Wright and Millie Virginia Peeler Wright. She was a retired textile worker and was formerly employed at the Mini Mart in Jonesville. Mrs. Hogan was of the Pentecostal Faith. Surviving are four daughters, Connie Smith and husband James, Janet Hogan and husband Ronald, Ann Shetley and husband Timothy and Linda Parkins and husband Matt all of Union; one son, Donnie Bruce Hogan, Jr. and wife Janie of Union; thirteen grandchildren several whom she raised and numerous great-grandchildren; five sisters and one brother. She was predeceased by one son, Donald Bruce Hogan. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Darrell Hogan. Visitation will be immediately following the services at the Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Martha Hogan Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family is the home of her grandson, Jeremy Shoe, 3207 Buffalo West Springs Highway, Buffalo, SC 29321.
