Mary Frances Bobo

Mrs. Mary Frances Bobo, age 82, of 884 Webber Lake Rd., Union, widow of Ralph Kent Bobo, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023 at her home.

Mrs. Bobo was born in Winnsboro, May 27, 1941, a daughter of the late James "Jimmy" Allen Glover, Sr. and Thelma Ferguson Clayton. She retired from CPE and was a member of Brown's Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Deborah Summer and Cheryl Bobo both of Union; three sisters, Patricia Mincey and Rachel Parham and husband Walter all of Columbia and Wanda Lowe of Beech Island; and three brothers, John Clayton and wife Ann of Ohio, Greg Glover and wife Cheryl and Phil Glover and wife Tricia all of Augusta, GA. Mrs. Bobo is also survived by grandchildren, Malia Taylor and husband Andy, Tyler Traxler, and Garrett Traxler and great-grandchildren, Audrey, Seth, Elsie and Millie Taylor. She was predeceased by a son, Kent Bobo and two brothers, Gene Clayton and James Allen Glover, Jr.

The family would like to say a special Thank You to Spartanburg Regional Hospice for their care of Mrs. Bobo during her illness.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Brown's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Brian Dye and Rev. Greg Glover.
