Mary B. Crocker

Mrs. Mary Belcher Crocker age 89, formerly of S. Boyce St., Union passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home after a period of declining health. Mrs. Crocker was born in Greenville, November 5, 1924, a daughter of the late Lawrence G. and Mary Gardin Holcombe. She was a graduate of Parker High School and was a Homemaker. Mrs. Crocker was a member of Unity United Methodist Church and attended Covenant Baptist Church. She was first married to the late Aromus Belcher. Surviving are a daughter, Glenda Owens of Jonesville; 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Crocker was predeceased by a daughter, Shelia Ann Huntsinger. Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Dr. Jim Ivey. Visitation will be held prior to the services Sunday from 1:30 until 2:45 PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. The family will be at their respective homes.
