Mary Ann French Greene

July 13, 2017 Mrs. Mary Ann French Greene, age 53, wife of Terry Greene of 3256 River Rd., Union, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Greene was born in Union, SC July 21, 1963, a daughter of the late Hoyt Earl "Tom" Fowler and Lois Manus Fowler. She was a graduate of Union High School and Spartanburg Community College. Mrs. Greene was formerly employed with Conso Products and Spartanburg Housing Authority. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Lacey French Whitlock and husband Tyler of Union; a son, Lee French of Union; a step-daughter, Jackie Rector and husband Alan; a step-son Terry Greene and wife Brandy; a brother, Wayne Fowler and wife Wanda all of Union and seven grandchildren. Mrs. Greene was predeceased by two sisters: Brenda Farr and Betty Jo Gault and a brother, Jerry Dean Fowler. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Randy Smith. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Bubba Crawford, Scott Austin, Rocky Smith, Thomas Rochester, Ron Gault and John Gunter. Members of the Couples Sunday School Class are asked to serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Friday evening at the church. Memorials may be made to Christian Fellowship Baptist Church, 557 Kelly Rd., Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home of her brother, Wayne and Wanda Fowler, 556 Sonoco Rd., Union.
