Mary Geraldine Gabois Cody

March 11, 2015 Mary Geraldine Gabois Cody, daughter of Frank and Sara Gadbois, was born on December 12, 1919 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She was married to the late Charles S. Cody of Union, South Carolina. Mrs. Cody passed on March 10, 2015. Funeral services will be held at Holcombe Funeral Home Chapel, Friday March, 13th at 2:00 P.M.; the family will be receiving guests from 1:00-2:00 P.M. The burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Garden. Mrs. Cody is survived by her daughter Jane Cody Ivey and son-in-law Tim Ivey of Lexington, South Carolina. She also has four grandchildren: Krystine Buice (husband Kevin Buice), Keely Rietveld (husband Aaron Rietveld), Tyler Ivey (fiancé Kaitlyn Janus), and Amy Ivey. Mrs. Cody is also survived by her 5 great grandchildren: Landon, Bailey, Aaden, Noah, and Zoey. She was known for her many artistic abilities and creative talents, as well as her quick sense of humor, generosity, love of the ocean and swimming, love of music and singing and love of her family. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Union Christian Day School, Union, South Carolina; in memory of Mary Cody.
