Mary Jo Gregory

February 9, 2020 Miss Mary Jo Gregory, age 93 of 401 Hart Street, Union, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, February 8, 2020 at her home. Miss Gregory was born in Union, SC December 5, 1926, a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Gregory and Lollie Jolly Gregory. She was a graduate of Union High School and retired from the Textile Industry. Miss Gregory was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she was a member of the Judy Graham Sunday School Class. Surviving are two nieces: Mary Ann Bell of Saluda and Jean Banks of Greenwood and two nephews, Donald Ray "DR" Sanders and wife Cherryl and John Richard Gregory all of Union. Miss Gregory was predeceased by two sisters, Annie Gregory and Anita Sanders and two brothers, Claude Gregory and John Gregory. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 10, 2020 at Tabernacle Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Dr. Tommy Vaughn. Burial will be in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Tommy Bell, Wayne Bell, Austin Bell, Ty Bell, Noah Bell and Geoffrey Latham. Members of the Judy Graham Sunday School Class, Brown and Judy Fant and Jennie Braun are asked to sit in a group. Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 PM Monday in the church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 915 S Pinckney Street, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home of her nephew, DR and Cherryl Sanders, 993 Sardis Rd., Union.
