Mary Ellen Horne Waldrop

Mrs. Mary Ellen Horne Waldrop, age 70, wife of Robert Waldrop of 212 Haney Rd., Buffalo, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Union Medical Center. Mrs. Waldrop was born in Whitmire, SC August 31, 1946 a daughter of the late D.F. Horne and Lillie Mae Lackey Horne. She was graduate of Whitmire High School and retired from Milliken & Co. She was a member of Healing Springs Baptist Church and had previously been a member of Weslynn United Methodist Church in Whitmire. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Donna Renee Jolly and husband Mark of Union and Cynthia Faye Williams and husband Paul of Buffalo; five grandchildren, Dawn Kaufman and husband Joel, Jonathan Stines, Katie Ralston and husband Robert, Matthew Stines, and Emily Williams; three great-grandchildren, Alex Kaufman, Eian Kaufman, and William Kaufman; and two sisters, Kathy Rodgers of Jonesville and Bobbie Shytle and husband Gerald of Inman. She was predeceased by one sister, Anita Knight. Visitation will be held 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 901 S.
