Mary Jo Lancaster

July 22, 2014 Buffalo, SC Mrs. Mary Jo Parks Lancaster, age 80, wife of Randolph Lancaster of 1157 Mudbridge Rd., Buffalo, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014 at Regional Hospice Home, Spartanburg. Mrs. Lancaster was born in Union, SC April 11, 1934, a daughter of the late Harold Noland Parks and Pauline Nelson Parks. She was a graduate of Union High School and was a member of Bogansville United Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters: Rosemary L. Gregory and husband Jim of Jonesville and Susan L. Gregory and husband Smitty of Santuc. Graveside services will be held 11:30 AM Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Bogansville United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Don Alexander. Active pallbearers will be Tommy Lancaster, Steve Roark, Neil Gregory, Bobby Lee, Adam Roark and Ricky Cooksey. Visitation will be held 10:30-11:30 AM Thursday in the sanctuary of Bogansville United Methodist Church prior to the graveside service. Memorials may be made to Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303 or to Bogansville United Methodist Church, 4052 Buffalo West Springs Hwy, Jonesville, SC 29353. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the caregivers, Jennifer Armstrong, Christy Bradburn, Brette Quick and the staff and nurses of Regional Hospice Home for their love and care of Mrs. Lancaster during her illness. The family is at the home of her daughter, Rosemary and Jim Gregory, 830 Forest Street, Jonesville.
