Mary Louise Lewis Franklin

Mary Louise Lewis Franklin, age 80, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021 at her home.

God blessed us with a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend for 80 years.

Mary was the daughter of the late Claude O. and Helen Thompson Lewis. She is survived by her daughter, Veronica Ann Glymph (Todd) of Newberry; granddaughters, Samantha Nicole McHugh of Whitmire and Amanda Leigh Haire (Zach) of Knoxville, TN; sisters, Patsy Lambert of Whitmire and Sue Prince (Johnny) of Union; and several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to say a special Thank You to MSA  Hospice, Newberry, for the care and compassion shown to Mary and her family during her illness.

Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday June 7, followed by funeral services at 3 p.m., at Pine Ridge Baptist Church, Whitmire conducted by Rev. Kenny Weaver. Burial will follow at Lee Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Naime Mason, Ronnie Garner, Zach Haire, Todd Glymph, John Prince and Scott Lyda.

The family will be at the home, 131 Alexander Rd. Whitmire.
