Mary Briggs Moore

Mrs. Mary Briggs Moore, age 84, of 709 Rice Ave. Ext., Union, widow of Billy Ray Moore, passed away, Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Heartland of Union.

Mrs. Moore was born November 25, 1937, a daughter of the late John Clark Briggs and Mary James Briggs Ivey.  She retired from Monarch Mill.  Mrs. Moore was a member of Union Church of God.

Surviving are two sons, Mike Moore and wife Pam of Rock Hill and Johnny Johnson and wife Jennifer of Tennessee; a sister, Doris Sellers of Macon, GA; two brothers, John Harold Briggs and wife Melissa of Union and Roy Briggs and wife Katherine of Union; four grandchildren Michael Moore, Jr. of Rock Hill, Brandy Assad of Rock Hill, Brian Coy of Tennessee, and Eric Coy of Tennessee; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.  She was predeceased by two daughters, Ashley Johnson and Tina Coy and one sister, Betty Rogers.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 27, 2021 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Jeff Farmer.  The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the cemetery.

The family is at their respective homes.
