Mary Nell O’Shields Baldwin

April 18, 2017 Mrs. Mary Nell O'Shields Baldwin, age 96, of 1014 Linersville Rd., Buffalo, widow of William Ned Baldwin passed away, Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Hospice Home of Carolina Foothills of Landrum. Mrs. Baldwin was born in Buffalo, SC May 24, 1920 a daughter of the late Deedie Clarence O'Shields and Nellie Frances Scarborough O'Shields. She was retired from United Merchants - Buffalo Mill and had formerly worked at Oakmont Nursing Home. Mrs. Baldwin was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church. Surviving are one sister, Annie Lee Dunaway of Enoree; two grandchildren, Stephanie Baldwin Antkowiak and husband Steven of Greensboro, NC and Kenneth Wayne Baldwin of Charlotte, NC; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews including, Bobby and Becky Hyatt and Jason Hyatt and children Cassidi and Jadon Hyatt. She was predeceased by her son, Steven Larry Baldwin and a niece, Debra Nell Hyatt who was reared in the home. Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Buffalo Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Lynn Ford. Visitation will be held following the services.
