Mary Lee Parker

Mrs. Mary Lee Parker, age 96 of Irmo, widow of A. Leo Parker, passed away Friday, October 21, 2016 at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital, Columbia, SC. Mrs. Parker was born in Chattanooga, TN December 17, 1919, a daughter of the late Thomas S. Elder and Lela Clarke Elder. She was a member of Padgett's Creek Baptist Church and had resided in the Cross Keys Community for twenty years. Mrs. Paker was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are two daughters: Sally Lee of Irmo and Sue Wallace-Humm of Orlando, FL; four grandchildren: Dr. Ron Wallace and wife Denise of GA, Lisa Koppe and husband Gary of Miami, FL, Michael Wallace of Orlando, FL and Jennifer Szewczak and husband John of Columbia; ten great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Padgett's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Carrol Caldwell. Visitation will be held at the graveside immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to Padgett's Creek Baptist Church, 843 Old Buncombe Rd, Union, SC 29379. The family will be at their respective homes.
