Mary Ruth (Robinson) Anderson

Mrs. Mary Ruth Robinson Anderson, age 99, formerly of 202 Walker St., Union, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Union Post Acute Care. She was the widow of Major Clifford Anderson, Jr.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Union, October 28, 1925, a daughter of the late Ellis "Cordwood" Robinson and Annie Bryant Robinson. She retired from Conso Products and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving is a son; two grandsons, Michael Anderson and wife LaWayne and Richard Anderson all of Buffalo; four great grandchildren, Wayne Anderson and wife Christy, Jared Anderson and wife Brooke, Cheyenne Gibson and husband Tyler, and Jace Anderson and wife Adelynn; two great great granddaughters, Raelynn Gibson and Maddy Blayke Anderson, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Glenn Robinson, Paul Robinson, Edward Robinson and Jack Robinson.

The family would like to say a special Thank You to the staff, nurses and many special friends at Union Post Acute for the care and love given to Mrs. Anderson during her time there.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Union Memorial Gardens Mausoleum conducted by Rev. Scott Cobb. Visitation will be held at the graveside immediately following the service.

The family will be at the home of Jared and Brooke Anderson, 535 Gist Bridge Rd., Buffalo, SC 29321.
