Mary Frances Sherfield

October 5, 2015 Mrs. Mary Frances Heatherly Sherfield, age 82, wife of 65 years to Paul Sherfield of 610 Mudbridge Rd., Buffalo, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Sherfield was born in Buffalo, May 30, 1933, a daughter of the late George and Eunice Cothran Heatherly. She was retired from United Merchants, Buffalo Plant and formerly employed with Wallace Thomson Hospital and Ellen Sagar Nursing Home. Mrs. Sherfield was a member of West Springs Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Judy Bobo and husband James Ray of Buffalo and Jean Horne and husband Kenneth of Union; a sister, Shirley Heatherly of Buffalo; three grandchildren, Chris Bobo, Nikki Walls and Michelle Crocker; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sherfield was predeceased by a son, Ted William Sherfield and two sisters, Louise Bogan and Joyce Moss. Graveside services will be held 4:00 PM, Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at West Springs Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Greg Black and Rev. Glen Ribelin. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the services. Memorials may be made to West Springs Baptist Church, 4811 Buffalo West Springs Hwy., Pauline, SC 29374. The family will be at the home, 610 Mudbridge Rd., Buffalo.
