Mary Louise Tidwell

Mary Louise Tidwell, age 93 of 106 Pineneedle Rd., Union, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Miss Tidwell was born in Chester, October 27, 1926, a daughter of the late John Sexton Tidwell and Frances Robinson Tidwell. She was a graduate of Union High School and had worked in sales with Fincher's Clothing. Miss Tidwell was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Surviving are a brother, John Tidwell and wife Heike of West Columbia, and a number of nieces and nephews. Miss Tidwell was predeceased by five sister, Arlene Wilson, Doris Loyd Athele Dickerson, Marcella Shirey and Marceda Tidwell and two brothers, Eugene Tidwell and Gladney Tidwell. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Merritt Wentz. Burial will be at Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home prior to the services. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
