Mary M. Tucker

October 30, 2016 Mrs. Mary Miller Tucker, age 85, of Brown's Creek Rd., Union, widow of James Floyd Tucker, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospital for Restorative Care. Mrs. Tucker was born in Union, June 16, 1931, a daughter of the late Jesse and Josie Crocker Miller. She was a graduate of Union High School and retired from Excel Hosiery. Mrs. Tucker formerly work for Union Dry Cleaners. She was a member of McCutchen Memorial Presbyterian Church and was attending Morningside Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Vinson and husband, Stan W. of Greenville; a granddaughter, Kristy de Krafft and husband, John and their children, Riley de Krafft and Bryson de Krafft all of Greenville. Mrs. Tucker was also survived by a sister, Mattie Woods of Augusta, GA; a brother-in-law, Hugh Tucker and wife Linda of Union; dear friends, Jack and Sarah Vinson and Rudell Morris all of Union; several nieces and nephews including a special niece Dianne Hendricks and husband Jimmy also of Union. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Dr. Aulbrey Calvert. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Morningside Baptist Church, 112 Bates Ave., Union, SC 29379.
