Mary Lee Vance Eaves

April 11, 2018 Mrs. Mary Lee Vance Eaves, age 89, of 4751 Lockhart Hwy., Union, widow of Paul Ralph Eaves, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Eaves was born February 17, 1929 in Lockhart, SC. She was a daughter of the late Robert Byron Vance and Germie Rash Vance. Mrs. Eaves retired from Milliken & Co.-Lockhart Plant after 44 years. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Mary Ruth Vanderford Sunday School Class. Surviving are three daughters, Mary Ann E. Grady and husband Wayne of Union, Julia Eaves of Union, and Kellie Eaves of Anderson; three sons, Ronnie Lee Eaves, Stan Eaves and wife Marlene and Tommy Eaves all of Union; one brother, Bill Vance and wife Joyce of North Highlands, CA; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, April 13, 2018 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by Mr. Mike Massey. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the services at the church.
