May 10, 2017 Mrs. Melinda Inabinett Wages, age 65, wife of Benjamin Wages of 2105 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy., Buffalo, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Wages was born in Union, December 8, 1951, a daughter of the late Ronald L. and Agnes Tucker Inabinett. She was a graduate of Union High School and had earned an associate degree in business. Mrs. Wages was a member of the First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Bethany Sunday School class and was also a member of the Clemson Extension Quilt Club. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Ben Wages and wife Letitia and Ed Wages all of Buffalo; two sisters, Becky I. Billings and husband Eric of Enoree and Pam I. Farmer and husband Sammy of Pauline; and four grandchildren, Rett Wages, Kayden Wages, Jonathan Wages and Jaryn Wages. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Tim Anderson. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be James Inabinett, Timmy Sykes, Russell Brooks, Eric Billings, Sammy Farmer, and Ben Moseley. Visitation will be from 1:30 until 3:00 PM Thursday at the chapel prior to the services. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 405 E. Main St., Union, SC 29379. The family will be at 424 Church St., Buffalo.
