Michael D. Carroll

October 11, 2015 Mr. Michael Dean Carroll, age 62 of 833 River St., Clifton, widower of Teresa Wiggins Carroll , passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015. Mr. Carroll was born in Cleveland, NC, June 9, 1953, a son of the late Jeff Augustus Carroll and Carrie Navey Carroll. Surviving are a daughter, Tiffany C. Queen and husband Richie of Pacolet; a son, Michael Dean Carroll, Jr. and wife Shannon of Lyman; a sister, Becky Davis and husband Larry of Union; four brothers, Coleman Carroll and wife Claudia of Union, Tom Carroll and wife Sandra, Steve Carroll and wife Joann all of Spartanburg and Pete Carroll and wife Brenda of Kings Mountain, NC. Mr. Carroll was also survived by 5 grandchildren and 29 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Ethel Hammett and Jean Ramsey Carroll and a brother, Dennis Carroll. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, October 12, 2015 at Forest Lawn Cemetery conducted by Rev. Billy Elder. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the services. The family will be at the home of his brother-in-law, Harold Hammett, 295 Limestone St., Pacolet, SC 29372.
