Michael Crisp

Mr. Michael Wayne “Mikey” Crisp, age 68 of Wilson St., Union, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

Mr. Crisp was born in Columbia, November 28, 1957, a son of the late Bobby and Barbara Walton Crisp. He was a graduate of Union High School and received a degree in Industrial Electronics from Spartanburg Technical College. He was employed in construction as an electrician and had worked with Clarkson Brothers. Mr. Crisp was a member of Mon Aetna Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his family, especially fishing at the park with his nephews. Mikey was truly a beloved character who will be dearly missed by all.

He is survived by an aunt, Linda Bobo and husband Frank of Union; two nieces, Brandy Vicars and Jasmine Vicars both of Union; two great nephews who knew him as “Papa” and “Uncle Mikey”, Hagan Clark and Greyson Redmon. He was predeceased by a sister Kimberly Ann Crisp Vicars and his maternal grandmother, Blanche Walton.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Union Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.

The family will be at their respective homes.
